Optimus L9 with 1GHz dual-core processor by L.G

The new LG Optimus device features a 4.7-inch IPS display (no resolution details availalable) and is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor.

The LG device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It sports a 5MP camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage and a 2,150 mAh battery. For connectivity, the device supports 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth and GPS / aGPS. The device measures 131.9 x 68.2 x 9.1mm and weighs around 125gm.

The Optimus L9 also features Qtranslator app, which can translate text from 44 different languages using optical character recognition technology. Other features include Q Memo, My Style keypad and SiO+ technology.

LG recently announced the Optimus G smartphone for Korea. The Optimus G features quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Android 4.0.4 ICS, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP autofocus camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, a massive 4.7-inch True HD IPS+ 1,280x768 pixel display. The company had introduced the L-series smartphones at the MWC event held earlier this year. So far, LG has launched L3, L5 and L7 smartphones in India.
