3G Dongles by Alcatel

ALCATEL ONE TOUCH, a Chinese manufacturer of cheap-ass mobile phones, has partnered with Nimbuzz to provide its instant messaging and internet voice chat (VOIP) services along in its newly-introduced 3G dongles, the ONE TOUCH X230E and X230S.

The new mobile broadband devices utilize 3G networks to offer download and upload speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps and 5.76 Mbps respectively. The dongles also feature an expansion slot for microSD cards, with a limit of 16 GB. The detailed specifications include:

HSPA \ UMTS (3G) 2100 MHz support.
Quad-band GPRS \ EDGE (850 \ 900 \ 1800 \ 1900 MHz) function.
HSPA downlink of max 7.2Mbps and uplink of max 5.76 Mbps.
Supports Windows 7 \ Vista \ XP \ Mac Os 10.4.9 - 10.6.6 \ Linux.
MicroSD card up to 16 GB, USB 2.0 interface.
