After china now its Iran.Iran has transferred all its government agencies to a domestically formed intranet, limiting the access in the name of security reasons. The country will now push the citizens into this ‘intranet’ platform and the government has also blocked Google Search and its mail service inside the country.

According to Reuters, Iran's deputy communications and technology minister Ali Hakim-Javadi said: “all governmental agencies and offices have been connected to the national information network. According to the minister, the system would be fully implemented by March 2013, when all the citizens and networks inside the country will be under domestic internet. But it’s not been made clear that whether the people would still be given access to World Wide Web.
Also a government official said that "Google and Gmail will be filtered throughout the country until further notice" and this will kick in "within a few hours."

Previously, the Iran government had tried to block several international sites like Facebook and Twitter from entering the country. But the people had effectively tackled the situations by using proxy servers over Virtual Private Networks and gaining the access.
