October 22nd will mark another history made by Google. The very first Google Powered, Android Mobile Phone will be officially release by T-Mobile a.k.a HTC Dream.

  • QWERTY keyboard
  • 3D graphics acceleration
  • 1GB integrated storage plus microSD expansion (allowing capacities up to 32GB)
  • 3-megapixel camera (but no video recording)
  • Android Market for on-device app purchases
  • Amazon MP3 app for on-device music purchases
  • Push Gmail support with full HTML client
  • Push Google Talk
  • Bluetooth (no A2DP)
  • Google Maps with Street View
  • No Microsoft Exchange support
  • No desktop synchronization
  • No Skype yet
  • No headphone jack
  • No multi touch

On October 22nd, you could line up and pay $179 for this very first Google Powered Android on T-Mobile in the US (locked T-Mobile) on a two-year stint, or $399 contract-free.

Will you be lining up to be the very first few who owns a Google Phone? This T-Mobile phone will be named "Dream"

It is said that the press conference will be held on Sept 23rd. But the actual selling of T-Mobile Dream phone will only be out on October or somewhere before Christmas.

We have a winner here. The $250,000 is awarded to 10 teams and another $100,000 is awarded to 10 teams.

$250,000 winner is as follows

cab4me - This application helps you easily call a cab from any location worldwide, without having to know the phone number. The app also tells you your current location.

GoCart - Let's you compare prices by taking a picture of a barcode. It recommends online prices and stores nearby.

Ecorio - Ecorio automatically tracks your mobile carbon footprint, suggests transit and carpooling alternatives and lets you stay carbon neutral by offsetting your trips easily.

TuneWiki - A "social media player" that lets you synchronize lyrics for audio or video. It also shows music maps, which displays songs playing in the same area.

CompareEverywhere - Another way to compare prices while your shop with barcode

Locale -  Changes your settings base on your location. I guess it is like time, daylight saving time, date and stuff.

PicSay - Image Editor for image personalization.

Softrace - A way to challenge others physically through the  virtual world. Kind of weird, but it will be fun to know what others are doing in the same track.

Wertago - Share location of nightlife.

Life360 - Updates you one what is happening in your neighborhood. Tracks your family on the map.
