Karbonn Mobiles will beat Google by bringing out the Smart Tab 4 running Jelly Bean, as early as September. The brand is known for affordable mobile devices, and this tablet could become the crowning glory in their line-up.

The tab will feature a 9.7" Corning Gorilla Glass display and will be powered by a 1.5 GHz processor. On the connectivity front it will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G via an external dongle; though another version with SIM functionality is expected soon. Karbonn will also be adding its own instant messenger and push mail service along with the device.
